In UU practice, children are blessed in a simple ritual in which parents (and any godparents) as well as the congregation dedicate themselves to helping each child grow up in the ways marked by wisdom, love, and justice. In keeping with our October worship theme, “Heritage,” on Sunday the 15th Rev. John will be preaching on “From Generation to Generation.” There is a reading of that title in our hymnal. Parents interested in having their children dedicated should contact Rev. John Buehrens.
