What would it take to convince us to literally open our arms to strangers, meeting eye to eye? How about dancing together? This service will explore what contra dance, a form of community folk dancing, has to teach us about daring to connect as individuals and as a community. Then we’ll practice what we preach with a brief community dance following the service. All ages and mobilities welcome!
The Rev. Dr. Lynn Ungar lives in the East Bay, and serves as our regular monthly guest minister through June 2018. She is also a minister with the Church of the Larger Fellowship, our online UU congregation. She is an avid contra dancer.
