NBOP meets
every second Wednesday of the month in the library at UUP. New people
are always welcome! We have a richly diverse group of about a dozen,
mostly young people that are determined to make our community more
responsive to the common good. Recent projects include monitoring and
meeting with members of the City Council and Petaluma City School Board.
We advocate for restorative justice in our schools and responding to
climate change, $15/hour minimum wage, affordable housing, just cause
evictions, etc., at the City Council. Petaluma Rapid Response Network
works to protect immigrants. For more information, talk to Carol
Crabill, Corrie Johnson or George Beeler.
Meeting time is 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. every second Wednesday of the month in the library at UUP.
